Description:

We are seeking an Associate Full Stack Engineer to join our Enterprise Merchandising & Pricing Platforms team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of systems that manage item setup, catalog data, pricing calculations, and promotional workflows using Java, Spring Boot, Angular/React, and cloud-native architectures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of full-stack applications using Java (Spring Boot) on the backend and Angular/React with TypeScript on the frontend.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design, build, and test scalable features and applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards and best practices.
• Assist in integrating front-end and back-end components through RESTful APIs.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and testing activities to ensure quality and performance.
• Learn and apply modern software development practices, including CI/CD, Git-based workflows, and Agile methodologies.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants) as part of daily engineering workflows to accelerate development velocity and code quality.
• Support production systems and assist with troubleshooting under guidance from senior team members.
• Actively learn the merchandising and pricing domain to build context for effective contributions.

Basic Qualifications

• Hands-on exposure to Java, Spring Boot, React or Angular, and modern web technologies.
• Familiarity with databases (SQL/NoSQL) and software development best practices.
• Strong communication skills and a desire to grow as a full-stack engineer.
• AI-native mindset \u2014 demonstrated willingness to use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, AI code assistants) as part of everyday engineering practice.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in web application development.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) through coursework or personal projects.
• Familiarity with containerization concepts (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Interest in retail, eCommerce, or enterprise technology domains.
• Experience using AI tools for code generation, debugging, or learning.
